Supply Chain Analyst
Location: Bryanston (Hybrid)

In this role, you will:
Take responsibility for analyzing and interpreting internal and external data to enable better service, improved understanding of costs, and recommend and drive changes within the Supply Chain to deliver on key metrices.
The role supports Warehouse and Distribution, Import and Export and Customer Services for South and Southern Africa.
This role will use recognized problem-solving techniques for data-analysis and will use the outputs to support Supply Chain decision-making within the business.
- Service Reporting:
- Interpret weekly and monthly fill-rate including root-cause analysis
- Develop, co-ordinate, drive and embed on-time + in-full (OTIF) as KPIs within the various areas of the Supply Chain
- Recommend key changes to customer-behavior (and impact on cost and service) by using Supply Chain data to drive results
- Uses data trends to identify efficiency opportunities in the order-taking process
- Understand relevant customer-reports being shared with KC supply Chain team, and align understanding and use of customer-date to support operational-decisions.
- Cost Analysis
- Extract information from internal and external data-systems (e.g. SAP, TMS, Vendor systems) related to Supply Chain costs and volume.
- Consolidate and analyze cost-drivers and supply-chain data such as shipment and delivery times, lanes, providers, pallet and inventory levels
- Consolidate cost-driver information related to import-costs
- Analyze drivers related to customer cost-to-serve, determine trends related to specific customers, and recommend actions to improve service / cost at a customer level
- Provide input into assessments of supplier performance and evaluate potential new suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
- Team coordination
- Drive formal and regular problem-solving sessions within the Supply Chain using KPIs and Scorecards as inputs.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree / Diploma in Supply Chain / Logistics Management / Commerce / Engineering (or equivalent).
- 1-2 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning and Logistics with proven data analytics experience
- Expert on SAP, PowerBI & MS Office Excel
- Basic understanding of Supply Chain cost-drivers
- Certifications such as APICS CPIM or CSCP are a plus
- Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Change management knowledge.
- Project management experience.
- Knowledge of Control Towers and/or Logistics Service Providers
