In this role, you will:
Summary of position
This role is a member of the EM R&D Team, reporting to the R&D Center of Excellence Leader. The role is responsible for carrying out physical testing for the EM R&D Team, ETLs and mill teams, in accordance with the Kimberly-Clark Quality Management System. The role is accountable for contributing to the business objectives and must demonstrate the One K-C Behaviours and values.
Essential accountabilities

Must always work safely, complying with the Binh Duong Mill Safety Policy and maintaining a safe working environment by applying 5S housekeeping standards.

Must comply with the K-C QMS.

Must adhere to the appropriate Standard Test Methods or procedures.

Is responsible for conducting timely and accurate physical testing of consumer products as requested. The data should be reported in the appropriate format or as requested by the customer. Testing includes but is not limited to:

Competitor Assessment

RSRs/MSRs/Projects
-
Ad Hoc requests
-
Testing correlation checks (ticklers)

Is responsible for conducting regular equipment verifications and calibrations in line with identified schedules.

Is responsible for providing training within the laboratory team to ensure that all tests and procedures are carried out correctly (including the adoption of new tests).

Is responsible for providing in-mill trial support within EM as necessary.

Is responsible for maintaining archived records and product.

Should apply LEAN principles to the working environment and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of these practices.

Working conditions

Work is completed in manufacturing facilities. In the typical K-C manufacturing environment, depending on location, can be exposed to dust, heat, noise, moisture up to clean room environments. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times (may include safety glasses, ear protection, hair nets, beard bags (if applicable), full gowning.)

Perform laboratory tests and procedures according to standard operating procedures.

Analyze, interpret data, and report findings to the relevant team members.

Maintain accurate records of tests and results.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.

Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.

Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies.

Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., chemistry, biology, or related field).

Proven experience working in a laboratory setting.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
-
Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures.

Good communication skills.
