In this role you will be a strategic business partner to the global AFC R&E Lead, IPC R&E Director and Sector lead. Accountable to deliver innovations and renovations to the BU’s aligned with the business needs for global AFC, using the adapting approach from other regions or translating local consumer insights to marketable product improvements or extensions.
Your Responsibility:
- Guide the team to provide technical leadership for a functional group or process for all global tampon sites through an implementation or continuous improvement.
- Attracting and developing talent (ensuring team has right skills and bench strength for the future to deliver the business needs), performance management and resource planning for the global tampon life cycle maximization R&E team. Act as a role model for COMPASS and our KC values.
- Act as global R&E leader for the AFC tampon life cycle maximization globally. The role will be seen as a champion of renovation/innovation and a key partner to the Regional & Local Brand Marketing, Product Supply organizations and across KC R&E partners.
- Drive process improvement and innovation in global tampon manufacturing sites utilizing design control. Also responsible for executing LCM projects in global tampon manufacturing sites using either PRB or Design Control procedures.
- Ensure control of product costs. Drive Cost Transformation via the Design to Value process to fund our growth initiatives, positioning us to win against competition and improve gross margins. Also accountable for feasibility & capability to implement product & materials cost savings initiatives to deliver Cost Transformation business targets associated to product elements.
- Guide the team to provide technical leadership for a functional group or process for all global tampon sites through an implementation or continuous improvement.
- Interact globally with KC and external partners to ensure maximum alignment and value from global teams.
- Deliver safety standards for trial and development of our products. Acts as an example, ensuring compliance with company and country regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Corporate Financial Instructions and the K-C Code of Conduct and becomes the Compliance Role Model across K-C. Championing R&E processes, training, controls and metrics. Also ensures BU compliance with Corporate, Sector and Regulatory & Safety requirements as related to product.
- Exponent for consumer and brand driven innovation within the Innovation Management Framework, and champion of Portfolio Management. Accountable for regional product related activities to go through IMF.
- Supports delivery of business financial objectives via active participation in the K-C business planning processes (SBP) with Marketing and Finance entities.

- 10+ years’ experience in Product and Process Development
- Proven track record of portfolio management and decision making.
- Minimum B.Sc or equivalent.
- Proven team development experience
- Conversational speaking fluency in Czech and English
